Sustainability is not just one more section of the website, it is a brand attitude. It is a core value of our brand. It is something that we put in the very center of every single decision we make. It is an ongoing process that never stops. There is a lot to do, and it is almost impossible to reach all the aims, but we surely try our best to get there.
We love the ocean and the whole nature out there. And when you are out, enjoying its immense beauty, there is no doubt about it. Not for a second. We must preserve it. Protect it. And mostly save it from our own sins.
So we know we still have a long stretch to go, but so far these are some of the things we are doing nowadays to contribute to make this world a better place.
Fabrics: organic or recycled
We mainly use Peruvian organic cotton fabrics, known to be amongst the best cottons in the world. It is grown in a sustainable way following the most demanding international regulations, being certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). Most of our t-shirts and polos are made with PIMA organic cotton, exclusively grown in Peru and proven to be a world class cotton. PIMA cotton is a higher-end type of cotton with a longer fiber than conventional cotton. It has a reputation for producing a smooth fabric that’s soft to the touch, wrinkle-resistant, and ultra-durable.
